If you don't  love yourself nobody will. Not only that, you won't be good at valuing or loving anyone else too.

Placing value starts with the love you have for yourself.

Over the years, we hold on to the saying that goes thus,

"Love your neighbor as yourself"

But unknowingly had we turned the table and didn't realize the opposite is what really happens.

How many times do you look at the mirror and say words like;

"I'm ugly"

"I'm not too  beautiful"

"I'm not good enough"

"I'm not too smart"

And many others. 

You say all these to yourself more often than you say to others because you feel you are below everyone else.

You've turned the table and the saying which should be, "love your neighbor as yourself" should now be said as;

"Love yourself as you love your neighbor"

How well do you love yourself? Loving oneself is what  brings value to a person. 

In this world we are, ladies are made to believe that they are a second class citizens compared to make counterpart. 

But you know when it come to self-love, a lady is the first citizen. She have to love herself to earn others love and value for her.

You can't be valued beyond the way you love yourself and you can't be respected more than your love for yourself.

You have to first begin at loving and respecting yourself before others do same onto you.

So beautiful soul, you should consider yourself a rare gem and value the gem you are, you're of great potentials not only beneficial to you but the world at large.

In valuing yourself you accept yourself first and love yourself for who you are, this means to value both your perfections and imperfections then forget the failures and negativities.

You should also learn to think less of what others say.... 

Brigham Young, a reputable influencer once said, "why should we worry about what others think of us, do we have more confidence in their opinions than we do our own?"

Once you embrace your value, talents and strengths, it neutralizes when others think less of you.

One other thing you should know is the value placed on yourself can be depicted outwardly, you don't necessarily have to be flamboyant in your dressing but you should do your possible best to always look good.

Placing value on oneself also entails you being bold enough to take your own decisions and stand by it.

You should know and always affirm that;

"You are beautiful"

"You are smart"

"You are priceless"

"You are unique and endowed with special abilities"

"You are a blessing to your generation."

A wise man once said "be faithful to which exists within yourself"


So, as a lady, when you learn to pick up the love for yourself today and darn the situation that calls for a rebel unto yourself things will definitely turn out well.
